Meet our Team- New Hire EdgeUp Agronomist, Mark Beamer
B&A Genetics announces the addition of Mark Beamer as an agronomist for its EdgeUp Advisory System. The EdgeUp Advisory System is a unique, one-on-one approach to help growers simplify their operations and increase yields while reducing their costs per bushel. As an EdgeUp Agronomist, Mark will partner with growers to develop personalized, strategic year-round plans that combine in-field data and proven management practices.
“Mark’s commitment to the EdgeUp System will allow our entire team of EdgeUp Advisors to lend the knowledge and expertise to help every customer increase production on every field,” commented Gregg Adams, co-owner of B&A Genetics.
Mark’s experience as an agronomist spans more than 20 years, with much of his time spent working in the seed production industry where he developed a deep understanding of all aspect of corn and soybean production. A native of Celina, Ohio, Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in Crop Science from the University of Illinois with an emphasis in plant physiology and plant pathology.
When not at work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and son. They enjoy going to college football games, especially the Buckeyes. “I’m excited to join the B&A Genetics team as an EdgeUp Agronomist because of the company’s vision in providing great quality seed and exceptional customer service to each grower,” stated Mark Beamer, EdgeUp Agronomist for B&A Genetics. “I hope to share my knowledge with current and future B&A customers and learning more about their farming operations.“
